so
ahum.so today: 1) my dad held an astronomy meeting at my school for kids to join. it was very nice, and a good number of kids came, including a few jerks, but oh well.2) my friend told me that for april fools day (um, still a month away, dear) she was going to trick her parents into eating a sandwich with american cheese in it that was still wrapped. i didnt say anything, but wouldnt that be sort of.... obvious? and how can she convince her parents to let her make them sandwiches? and wouldnt they be suspicious?3) i had a huge lot of french homework. we wrote a letter to an imaginary cousin about imaginary things and what our imaginary daughter did while we were out of the house. (um, how would we know??) 4) i had fish tacos for dinner. very interesting.things that happened over the weekend:1) i discovered that my laptop has a sticky shift button AND space bar.... very annoying.2) i went to a splendiferous birthday bash for koala. she turned 15 - we had a sleepover in a cool woodsy cabin and stayed up all night - well, almost. fox and i went to bed around four since we were so tired. :) koala and rabbit stayed up allllll night. pengi almost made it but zonked around six. i think dragon went to sleep around four thirty.3) i had a smallville marathon with mom. were on the fourth season now.4) i accidentally scared my cat when my chair made a noise and he fell off his condo. (oops)5) i repainted my nails, undoing the damage made at the sleepover. my nails were suffering of too-many-clashing-colors-on-one-nail disease. they are now pleasantly half orange, half pink, all glittery.6) i bought the most beautiful neon orange nail polish. i had other oranges, but one was too light and stupid, the other is coral and not exactly what i was thinking even tho its very pretty, and the third is not really orange at all but pink and sparkly. nail polishes are so deceiving!!!! but anyways, the good one is l'oreal, in that bijou line. i really like those colors - they go on really nice and thick, are really bright and solid, and come off easily too. so if you want a good nail color, get bijou. i think i want to get all of their colors! :)7) i was enlightened by mom about the joys of chocolate necco wafers. yum.8) mom and dad bought me a bag of chocolate mints (soon gone) and an awesome orange pen. :Dand thats about it. i cant wait to go to school tomorrow.

squirrels, fantasy, and late-night internet chats
such spells out my weekend.well, i have met a new friend who i shall refer to as "squirrel." for he is a squirrel. very squirrelly.i have new inspiration. i am currently working on The Color of Fire, my fantasy project. i didn't really have much of an idea how it would go, until a few months ago when i just... realized how everything should fit. i still have to work out the details, but i know roughly the storyline, the characters, and have even invented a few twists. :) so ive written all that down so i dont forget, and now im just working on the text itself. i started The Color of Fire in april of last year (!) and just slapped down a rather careless beginning. i lost interest and (sad because the elemental idea had potential, and a lot of it) stopped. i went back to it a month or so later and realized that the whole idea was worth keeping. first of all, i had to get rid of that sloppy beginning. it compacted several major events into five or so pages. (i always like to begin my stories with a shock effect, someone getting murdered or something happening that will be relevant later.) so i threw out that draft, kept the idea, but started again while taking my time. i put in some detail, made the storyline easier to follow, and added depth to the characters. IT TURNED OUT SO MUCH BETTER, and now im working more on it. its actually quite promising, and MUCH better than The Delphi, my only completed novel. (which was short, choppy, has unconvincing characters and fake emotions - VERY carelessly done and rather sloppy.) the sequel to The Delphi, Black Magic, is not progressing as its hard to make a sequel with the same cameo-ish characters.well. that was a long-winded sort of paragraph. sorry. ;)not much has happened this weekend else... i talked to pengi and monkey online last night until one o'clock (haha)..... that was interesting and helpful until monkey got on and then all pengi and monkey did was argue. =^>.<^= monday is animal print/camoflauge day for ffa week, but seeing as i dont have any animal print or camoflauge or care to wear any, i wont participate. i can always do the other special-dress days.lalallaaa. happy. :)well, talk to you guys later.luv from your hairball hacker,blackcat =^-^=<3<3<3<3<3

happy st. valy's day
  well, this is the day when insecure boyfriends give insecure girlfriends petty gifts and roses.
and also the day when the Outsiders (our group) gives each other little Valentines to make each other happy. :)
i received an extravagant gift from pengi, complete with beautious bag, purrfect black kat card, chocolate, and more chocolate. isnt that sweet?
i also received, from my parents, a totoro shirt and stuffed animal (YAY!) that i absolutely love. pictured above!! i got candy from tracey and a teenage mutant ninja turtle valentine from kaela. :)i took my parents out to pizza. and we made construction paper valentines in french class.brings back old memories of elementary school, making shoebox mailboxes and receiving valentines and lollipops from everyone.your faithful hairball hacker,blackcatps - i apologize for the last post. i was in a rather bad state and having one of my psychotic moments. i was not having a good time, btw.

happy weekend, everybody
i am v. v. sore from pe..... we did weight lifting and stuff and now i HURT. stairs need to DIE. pengi was all like, "why are you sore, that was fun!" i agree it was fun, just painful. and then later she goes "my back hurts from weight lifting." &^%#@*$##$#%!!^?????!!!!!! well, not much has been going on. not much at all.well.

shopping, pe, tacky dress day.... i have an amazing life, don't i? ;)

MorIsse!ttewell, i went shopping at wal-mart today and went neon orange crazy. i bought a pair of gorgeous neon orange heeled sandals (that i can hardly walk in, btw), some tacky neon orange bracelets, neon orange tic-tacs, two pairs of rainbow toe socks, and a top for the saydy hawkins dance on saturday. i did all right, spent 26 dollars. (my heels were only $6!!!!)in pe today we did aerobics. like, step on the little green box thing. i was actually very coordinated! i, however, cannot jumprope. kaela can jumprope. i can step-kick-back-step-touch. :) kaela, mandy, hannah, vicky and i all promised wed make pe fun for each other! :)today, da group decided to have a tacky dress day. i showed up in a conservative black turtleneck paired with short purple skirt and accessorized with bright green hair ribbons, striped knee socks, and clunky clogs. :P kaela came in her bright yellow and green hawaiin shirt and nets - fox in pigtails and a red pinstriped blouse layered over a forest green tee, pengi in comfy sweats (she prefered to be comfortable.) . monkey did not dress funkily - coward. :) lol. hes emailing me now. we're talking about bench pressing and heels..... :Di had a good day today... i have new music, new music that makes me feel crazy and happy. rock on!!

hello, world. oh, did you know that superbowl XL is on?
don't forget about the superbowl, honey.dang! i forgot ALL ABOUT that.well, it's not like it's that great.yeah, i guess not. shall we just go out to dinner tonight?sure.has anyone ever heard this conversation before? i haven't. IF anybody has ever heard this conversation, i would LOVE to know about it. the superbowl is SO HUGE its unbelievable. (even in OTHER COUNTRIES!!! do YOU hear any highschool kids going, 'man, can't miss that world cup'? does anyone in the u.s. even know who PLAYED in the world cup last year??) i'd like to take a step back for a minute. this is a game where big guys wearing big padded suits run smack into each other so one of them can run with this ball just to get it to the colored strip on the other side. THAT is what we are watching with bated breath, with unbridled excitement. THAT is what we throw parties over, cancel appointments for, and INDUCE EARLY PREGNANCY FOR (did you see that news report?? a woman wanted to induce birth so that she could be home in time to watch the superbowl? do we need to take a psychiatric diagnosis here?).this is the american legacy (ha ha).dont misunderstand me: i think its great that people love this so much - i mean, we all need our passions or our relaxing activites, and i freely admit that I AM WATCHING THE SUPERBOWL RIGHT NOW (ah, seattle is 3 pts. ahead...) I WISH! MY PROFILE! WOULD GET! WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE!
I AM! SO FRUSTRATED! WITH THE MILLION LITTLE THINGS WRONG! WITH MY BLOG!so.the skiing conditions were icy so i went home early. i chose not to try and ski over bare spots. i have my dignity, you know.pengi has phone. (yay!) unfortunatley, i cannot call her when she has tied up her phoneline with the internet and she cannot call me when she thinks i am at bryce.lovely.my english class is great. we're talking about irony. you know that song, ironic, by some european chick...it's like rain on your wedding dayit's a free ride when you've already paidit's the good advice that you just didn't takeand who woulda known, it figures it annoys me how europeans say "figure" not as "fig-yur" but as "fig-er." there goes my accent discrimination again. but we're off the subject.so the student teacher mrs. everett was telling us how several "college people" have debated this song (me: what a waste of time) and some say NOTHING IN THE SONG IS IRONIC, for reasons such as in a phrase something to the effect of "a 98 year old man won the lottery and died the next day." see here while i explain: irony is defined as "something happening that the character/we did not expect to happen." (see, I always thought that irony was... well... cruel humor, like, of course, like, how cruel. like pengi showed me a little video once that showed a little stick figure putting trash in the trash can instead of out the window, while his car was being trashed. see? it figures (heh). thats what i thought was irony.) as it is not a huge surprise that the man dies at 98 years old. yeah, it sucks he won the lottery and THEN died, but thats not irony (apparently.) so these "college people" say nothing in the song is ironic, but that fact that the song IS NAMED "IRONIC" is IRONIC!!! how TWISTED IS THAT????heheh. pengi says in class, "like 'fat chance' is the same as 'some chance,' is that irony?"the teachers are baffled.i am baffled.the teachers shake their heads confusedly and do not answer (to my knowledge). later i find that pengi was MEANING to say "fat chance" is the same as "slim chance"but said "some chance" instead, therefore we were confused.i am tired. i shall stop. i go to my mountain cabin tomorrow so i will not be here on saturday, but will be here on sunday for the superbowl. woooo.your faithful hairball hacker,blackcat =^-^=ps ~ sorry this post is so hard to follow - my thoughts are erratic and not very user-friendly. sorry. :) i have color-coded this post also, to hopefully make it easier to follow and divide my thought threads into some sort of subject order. :)

happy february!!
well, whats the news.... i bought two skirts today at great prices and a pair of gorgeous boots that i lovelovelove. i shall wear them tomorrow (well, one skirt anyway). yay!i have a vocab quiz tomorrow, 20 words, in english. pengi is getting a phone on friday!!! yay!!! well.... i had lots of things to say when i logged on, and now i'm having a brain fart. can't wait to wear new clothes tomorrow!! ;)
