sh-bam
a lot happened yesterday. and today.monkey was a butt and sent a rude comment to penguin. she called him a jerk. (not half of what he should be called, but oh well.) later, when he commented to her, she bounced and wouldnt take my advice and snub him, but kindly asked how his thanksgiving went. which means ill be the only one with the courage or means or whatever to chew him out tomorrow.my comment boards are very blank, but thats probably a good thing.s'uki hasnt posted since yesterday.i slept in til 11:00 am. i won back my 50 cents from mom at cards and yahtzee and now owe her only a quarter. that's still a bag of chips. ill get it back this afternoon.i cleaned my room (ack).i need to paint my nails before tomorrow.and thats about it.im bored, but thats ok.i have no idea what to post.so this will be it.

posting again
although i shouldnt, i should be on strike ever since my hp post was completely bashed. but oh well. i dont care. hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving. im listening to 'hey jude.' its an awesome song!Hey jude, don’t make it bad.Take a sad song and make it better.Remember to let her into your heart,Then you can start to make it better.Hey jude, don’t be afraid. You were made to go out and get her.The minute you let her under your skin,Then you begin to make it better. And anytime you feel the pain, hey jude, refrain,Don’t carry the world upon your shoulders. For well you know that it’s a fool who plays it coolBy making his world a little colder.Hey jude, don’t let me down. You have found her, now go and get her.Remember to let her into your heart,Then you can start to make it better. So let it out and let it in, hey jude, begin,You’re waiting for someone to perform with. And don’t you know that it’s just you, hey jude, you’ll do,The movement you need is on your shoulder.Hey jude, don’t make it bad.Take a sad song and make it better.Remember to let her under your skin,Then you’ll begin to make itBetter better better better better better, oh.Na na na na na ,na na na, hey jude...i could listen to that song forever. one of my favorites, definitely the best beatles song ever in my opinion. i like "lady madonna" too. im talkin to pengi riiiight now. its sort of hard to post, listen to beatles, and talk to pengi at the same time.... she is currently talking about an orange owl... awww... thats so sweet.....

*sigh* FINE, here's my hp review :)
yes, i know, im late. honestly i forgot but dad and nuncle were kind enough to remind me. so here goes the second post in one evening (incidentally ten minutes apart.)hp! such a great series of books. who could ask for more yummy, rebel-victim-WIZARD-cute guy??? and, of course, throw in hilarious sidekick and female intelligence as accompaniment, dont forget the ugly evil dude and tons of lotr-hijacked material, and you get:THE MOST CELEBRATED CHILDREN AND ADULT FANTASY SERIES OF THE 21st CENTURY!!!!!!!!!!unfortuantely, compared to the book, the movies suck.oh well. take what we can get, right?? HP 4 was, well, DEFINITELY better than the first 3 movies. almost infinitely. even daniel radcliff's ACTING was better, and who was counting on THAT??? lets go through the significant part of the movie, shall we? points are always easier to follow for me than blocky paragraphs.and please be warned, if you havent seen the movie and want to, you may want to postpone my review as it is plot revealing.1) the beginning moved sooo fast, it was a total blur!! i dont really blame them for this, its a big book, and admittedly the entire world cup quidditch match was slightly unimportant until the death eater attack. so, the movie skipped. A LOT. i was pretty disappointed because the quidditch matches were essentially the best part in the previous movies, and this was looking COOL. the leprechauns came out, the PLAYERS zoomed out spectacularly, it was great. all RIGHT, lets get this match ON - what? what - why are we in the weasley's tent now? NOOOOO! there werent even any veela...2) the death eaters attack occured wearing (heheh) VERY k-k-k-ish hats. harry and his friends did not flee into the forest as supposed to, but stayed conveniently out in the open, were proffered a clear view of the darkmark-caster, but of course could not see him, la di da. not to bad, really, i can forgive them for that.3)wow - are they really on the train already? WOW that went fast - anyway, oops, the cart is coming. i love looking at the snack cart. i realllly wanted one of those swirling lollipops...4) ahhh, here comes cho chang, harry's love interest. katie leung has a VERY english accent.. . how disorienting... but shes so cute. (i know you would have done SO much better, ah-day-lah!! love you!) shy smile, '''allo 'arry," he stares waaay too long, smiles stupidly, all very good. love it.5) the goblet of fire is very beautiful, sufficiently awe-inspiring, very blue. penguin and i laughed so hard that all you can see from the camera angle is "WIZ" engraved on the front. HA!!!!6) the great hall seems very small... hmm...7) the whole beauxbatons and durmstrang entrances, in my opinion, was really stupid. girls in blue cloaks, batting their eyelashes and sighing profusely, reaching for the guy's chins, BIRDS flying out from their fingertips... COME ON!!! oh well. it was amusing. i laughed. and durmstrang... banging their staffs on the ground and doing martial-arts moves.... ha. i laughed at that too. i wish they could have done THAT better.8) fred and george's age-line-beard incident was GREAT. hilarious. loved it.9) i LOVED the little back room where the champions went after being called - so cute and firelit and twangy. yes, twangy.10) the dragon looked great. awesome. however, harry didnt really do much other than run away from it... i mean, not saying i WOULDNT be running from it, but in the book the dragon stays near the egg in order to protect it - seems logical to me. and the arena it was kept in was so small anyway. so in the the book, harry lures it away and gets it dizzy and everything. plus, there was very little about the other champions. i sort of wish we could have watched the different tactics with special effects. but altogether very cool looking.11) the mermaid song is sooo pretty!! i loved it. i want it on soundtrack, really. except we only got about 2 sentences - i wish they would have let the pretty song play out. and the whole bathtub thing with moaning myrtle (and daniel radcliffe, for that matter - ew!) was slightly a little much. loved how they made the mermaid painting into a stained glass window, i loved how she messed with her hair the whole time. :)12) EMMA WATSON LOOKED SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! omg, i loved her hair and her dress and her hair and of course the gorgeous dress... but daniel and rupert? i think its time for a magical HAIRCUT, whatcha think?? love the ballroom dance style with a twist, it was great how the guys started throwing the girls up in the air all of a sudden. it was very cool. and then the whole rock band thing made it slightly more realistic. and i loved the new thing about the dance lessons with mcgonagall. that was funny.13) the maze was um, how shall i say, oh, LAME??? sphinx? no. blast-ended skrewt? no. upside-down mirage thing? are you kidding? try contracting walls (?) and mysterious windstorms. yeaaaaaahhhh. reaaaaall scaaaary. and everyone screams and runs away. ????14) the graveyard scene was gratifying. nice view of voldy, nice view of harry's cut, NO view of wormtail's stump, and satisfyingly ugly end-result voldy. and then he starts MONOLOGUING. heheh. it was good. very good. the duel was good. but then...15) the part where harry and voldy's wands become one (honestly, i forget the long name of it) was neat but they never gave an explaination that in fact that happened because the two wands are counterparts. the spirits coming out were neat, but i rather enjoyed the part in the book where they told him 'dont break the connection' and he had to struggly with the bead. but in the movie they just broke the connection immediately. not blaming them, pressed for time, i know. not a huge loss.16) well, daniel, you cried a LITTLE bit better in this movie. the racking, tearless sobs were okay, i guess. but better than the soundless shoulder-shaking of the previous movie.17) althogether, GOOD!! i didnt like how the characters were a little unclear - i wasnt sure at all who bagman, crouch, and crouch's son were at times, and winkey NOR dobby NOR spew was at all involved. (how's that for elf rights, huh?)well, i give it 3.5 stars out of 5. go see it, anyway. it's worth six bucks.

Tai Shan
have you seen the cyooote baby panda??? hes sooo adorable! he's the cub of Mei Xiang. his name, Tai Shan, means "peaceful mountain." he is so cuddly! 'doncha wish your girlfriend was SOFT like me?' heheh. sorry, can't resist throwing fun at the pussycaT dollsS. anyway, you can actually watch Tai Shan live!! my dad found this, its so awesome you get to see him rolling around and playing with his mom and everything on this webcam. go take a look, it's really the second best thing to seeing him in person. and the camera moves to follow him. http://animal.discovery.com/cams/pandavidr.html this is the link. go see, it's really great. here's another link to a video of tai shan walking. this video clip is not live, of course, but it gives better closeups and better color quality to get the baby panda at his fuzziest. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/video/2005/11/01/VI2005110101162.html?nav=dropnav

my semi-exciting day unfolds
yes, today was definitely worthy of the lofty title "semi-exciting." it was made less exciting by the jerks on the bus and the bus ride itself, and also by the absence of... well. i shall tell all (or almost all).today monkey and penguin and i met before class at the lock lobby thing (which i hath described before, shant do it again) and it seemed to be the beginning of another of those boring, eventless day puncuated by the occassional bad test grade. not good at all.as premonitions of the blah-ish day ahead began to show themselves, (as much repetetive, rehashing bookwork assigned by the history teacher) i incidentally heard some.... relevant, to say the least.... news *ahem* that is not suitable for blogging purposes. i happen to posess a certain skill at spying and eavesdropping, NOT my fault but my godgiven natural ability, *ahem* i HAVE been persecuted for this by miamirice, but anyway, that is not especially necessary to the story, is it? (notice storytelling is NOT one of my godgiven natural abilities. in fact, i often drive penguin to yelling "yes! get on with it!" while i ramble about some dramatic expression or other. anyway.)moving on, the interesting news speeded up the block considerably as i eagerly awaited my chance (namely, next period, french class) to give penguin the news. i arrived in french and waited as the class filtered in the door, but alas, no pengi. i therefore asked hillary (for whom we have not agreed on an animal codename) where pengi had gone 1st period. she helpfully informed me that the principal herself had escorted pengi out of class and one of them looked upset (she could not remember who. yes, im hearing "misinformation" bells also.) disappointed, i demand my money (loooong story) from mrs. leatherman and prepare for a food-riddled, confusion-infested and frustration-filled french period.......with no pengi.in the middle of class, as teacher has her back to the class and is scribbling "qu'est-ce c'est la norriture?" when a cell phone bursts out with a very catchy song. (by the way, cell phones arent allowed to be on in school.) everyone goes very quiet. (this is a mutual defense maneuver - with all quiet it is indiscernable where the cell phone is, exactly, once surrepitiously turned off, and the miscreant is left undetected. you do this because you know that the day YOUR cell phone goes off, you will be left undetected also. the only problem with this maneuver is that everyone's head turns instinctively to the sound. fortunately, mrs leatherman had her back turned and the ripple of heads was not detected.) without turning about, teacher says, "whoever has that phone must sing." at this, laughter breaks out and she repeats, "you must now sing your ringtone!"this "embarrasement" attempt at punishment is usually unaffected because the people brave/silly enough to leave their cell on are usually brave/silly enough to sing in front of the class. at this, *clever* saluki turns around, laughs gleefully, and goes, "elaaaiinnnne!" this is a noneducated move because should he ever have a ringing cell, he will be pointed out immediately. oh well. his loss. lonnie, at this point, is being very nice and covering for elaine (he is a brave/silly type.) he starts singing the ringtone loudly and robustly, and everyone laughs, even elaine. but then elaine suddenly looks up and places her hands over her mouth. everyone goes silent, b/c we're afraid she reeeely embarrassed and we've upset her. but them she BURSTS into tears SO suddenly we're all shocked! she goes, "mrs leatherman? can i - i've got to go!" and she bangs out into the hall and into the girl's bathroom.meghan asks quickly to see if she's all right, and mrs leatherman (as usual, terrified of being sued or something) says yes. when meghan comes back, all she will say in front of the class is "she needs a few minutes."so pengi and i have now decided that it was the text message that made elaine cry. what it is, i have no clue. so i called pengi when i got home and she explained that she had become incredibly dizzy and described how the room spun reeeeeely fast. so the science teacher sent for someone to call her mother and escort her to the office to await her return home.and then i got a 100 on my geometry quiz. :)altogether, an interesting day.

yes, monday tomorrow
strange that i should be saying that when only a post or two ago i was sighing of the weekend. but now i am rested and ready for some action.
penguin has phoned me and reported that her youth group trip was awesome and gushed sufficiently about it over the phone, but she will undoubtedly want to post it on her blog herself, seeing as she is better at discerning blog-safe information from non blog-safe information. :)
i have begun my christmas shopping list and have decided two things:
1) for most people on the list, i have absolutely no idea what to get.
2) in order to require the necessary money, i must sacrifice that beautiful 'hot silver' ring and save.
christmas is always slightly stressful. mom hates christmas. i cannot yet find it in my kitty-cat, christmas tree-climbing, ornament-batting heart to hate christmas, but i am indeed recognizing the stress factor.
not to even mention the snow. i love snow. right now i think i love snow more than any kind of weather in the world. even though i also love rain. snow!! i can't WAIT to hear that school's out and head outside with my sled and enjoy the ONE SEASON when i ACTUALLY get along with my neighbors. i know, amazing. it is the one season, i think, that we both treasure from years back and, just perhaps, the snow melts our hearts a little. until, of course, kenny throws that fateful, well-aimed snow ball. then 'tis war.
lol. i need a new hat this year.. they have great hat, scarf, and glove sets at wally world. i think i may get myself some as an early gift. to myself. how... selfish sounding. oh well. maybe after christmas.
yadda yadda yadda.
my amazon wishlist is acting up, just like everyone is saying (except nate, who goes, "i think you've all got it wrong, it works just FINE for ME."). there is no insurance that you have a unique username - apparently there is a hannah (i DID put my last name, btw, just dont want to put it here) in houston, tx with which i am being confused with. i do NOT want 3 kinds of ipods, btw.
*sigh*
i actually put *sugh* up there the first time. sugh! what kind of messed-up sound is that?
ok, gotta go!

what a week - and its not even over yet!!
this week has been soo hectic, seriously. it has been riddled with tests, boredom, and the general highschool life completed with confusion, indignance, anger, and shock (thanks to saluki.). not to even mention information overload.omg.so anyway. today i watched the last bit of fellowship of the ring (yes! lotr rocks!!), finally defeated the part of my urbz for gameboy (thats sims) thats been giving me heck for months and now am blogging. and agonizing that i cannot stay up and watch the new episode of lost that comes on tonight. right now, in fact. but i refuse to even watch the beginning and be caught by thrilling cliffhangers. besides, dad will tivo it. thank god for tivo.i have been amusing myself in between tests, assignments, and homework by drawing all over my yellow notebook. its very interesting. i have sketches, doodles, and even written passages. and they all mean something, every single thing. they're all true, the doodles represent people/ideas and the sayings (although appear totally random at first) all make sense from my point of view. (except for the 'rox my sox' bit. that was totally random.)and i have a question, my new comments board discussion topic: does ANYBODY else on this earth know who rosalind franklin was? other than my parents? because penguin and saluki are BOTH giving me puzzled looks. they just dont realize that rosalind unlocked a momentous secret of EVERYTHING, and GOT NO CREDIT. sometimes men are real jerks. i could use another word, but choose not to out of my articulation, dignity, and knowledge of more educated phrases. anyhoo. (THAT, by the way, is a fabulous example of a literary expression... ehehe.)tomorrow in french we shall begin on our tourist brochures advertising paris, en francais, bien sur. it sort of sucks i dont know how to get accents on here... all my french looks strange. anyway. so i have no idea about paris at all, and mrs leatherman wont give us any references on class time. "think of something." ??? how can i THINK of something i never LEARNED in the first place?? i refrain from explaining to her that this is the main reason WHY teachers exist, to teach you things. anyway. tomorrow SHOULD be my one blissfully testless day of the week, but i have a nagging suspicion my ag teacher will fix that with a pop-something. i studied just in case. this is sad. when you dont have a test, you shouldnt study for it. but i do. what gives. i guess i am just too assuming a person. in fact, one time i called penguin at 2:30 pm on a saturday and woke her up. WOKE HER UP!!! i told her "i assumed that you would be UP by now" (like the normal community) and she simply said "never assume, dear. never assume."i guess she has a good point, but its still no excuse for her not to be up at 2:30 pm any day of the week.well, i guess i shall leave you all, my devoted fans, for my bed. surprising how boring that prospect can be, isnt it?au revoir from your faithful hairball hacker,blackcat=^-^=ps- i apologize publicly for any offense my nuncle may have taken from DEAR saluki's outbursts. he didnt know it was you and is very, well, protective. (yes, saluki, you are.)

still happy
how annoying and infuriating. i just wrote this whole out this whole thing and i lost it.still happy!!!no comments guessing why i am happy...yay :)anyway, today was a great day. penguin's at a really cool youth group thing.. shes with all her cool sophomore friends :) i hope shes having a great time... the only drawback is that she cant call me and hear my news... (penguin ~ i have *news*!!!!)yes. confidential news, not fit for writing on anything that wont be burned immediately. not that its INCRIMINATING, just... not fit for the public. it needs to be properly analyzed, discussed, beaten to death, and then the matters pertaining to carried out. then the results must be carefully logged away for questioning.matter #1) chew saluki out. for real, this time. not like at lunch today. i have much more incriminating evidence now. (hear that, fluffdog? something to look forward to tomorrow)matter #2) discuss with penguin, thoroughly. then jump up and down for at least 5 seconds of sheer joy. then we will do as above, analyze, rate for importance, review tone of voice, and relay the message 5 times over to clarify. (note that this the previous matter is more IMPORTANT than even talking to best friend.)matter #3) interrrogate zach. he knows more than he disclosed. *shifty eyes*matter #4) try to explain to monkey why all this is relevant. (he never seems to understand this process, yet is insatiably curious)after this is finished, i shall be bouncy for the rest of the day.oh, and chef? i DO like rolling my eyes. alot. in fact, my father frequently advises me to roll them in the other direction a few times lest they screw themselves out. *rolls eyes* what a ludicrous idea... AHHH!! MY EYE!!!no, jk. eheheyour favorite faithful hairball hacker, blackcat =^-^=!*applause*yes, the fans LOVE me.
