happy saturday!
I do believe i'm coming down with a cold. ah well. dad told me to eat two cloves of garlic raw, but i decided i'd rather take ibuprofen. today we are going to go to the library and the green valley book fair. yayay. i have money.so school has been pretty monotonous. i got my report card back at the end of the six weeks. history: 100. french: 97 agriculture: 100 geometry: 98. not bad. when mr baker handed it to me he grinned and said i really needed to get my french grade up, i seemed to be struggling.but french class is REALLLY hard. not to mention the teacher. *rolls eyes*nuncle chef burning chix came to our house to spend the night, probably sneaking in anonimouse in some pocket, i smelled a rat. he left pretty early to go work on his building for the restaurant. that place is gonna be great.
so penguin has a disposable camera now and is surrepitously snapping pictures behind teacher's backs. haha.so whats goin' on with you guys? comments!!! i looove comments. blogger is dying. penguin barely posts anymore. too involved in her myspace. at least i will keep this for family, right?right.ok guys. have a good weekend!your faithful hairball hacker,blackcat =^-^=

homecoming pics :)
   homecoming was great! very nice music, and people had such gorgeous dresses on!! it was a lot of fun. pics for the relatives, enjoy!!
surprisingly saluki came *gasp* and there wasnt even a computer lab open! everyone kept bugging him to dance but he refused *haha*
it was in the gym, and it was really dark and there were almost no chairs. i hardly sat down all evening. my shoes were killing me after a while. didnt dance that much, too self concious but one guy did ask me. but kim had been hanging all over him all night and i think she was drunk and he was just really weird so i didnt dance with him. penguin reproved me after but i still dont regret.these pics are taking for-ever to load. i guess they are pretty big pictures. i think you can click on them to see the full size. today we went to the balloon festival and had a nice time their with our friends bert and regina. balloons didnt take off tho, too windy... and too cold!!mom found my gba-sp charger (yay!) so i finally get to play sims urbz again. i love that thing. but im stuck at this one really frustrating part... oh well...yeah, homecoming was so nice but i was so exhausted when i got home!! i have this adorable picture of penguin and i at the dance (even tho i look really nervous in it - i was! i had just found out that... never mind.) but i need to get her permission b4 i post it. its cutecute. penguin had this really great dress - black with beaded trim. it was so pretty! and her shoes matched perfectly. of all the people at the dance, the people with my fave dresses were:beccakim b.penguinvickykaelastephanieryans girlfriend whose name i didnt catch (but it started with a k, i think)meghan l.rochelleyep, thats pretty much them all.blackcat =^-^=~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:

crrrazy day
today my geometry teacher attempted to explain the "beauty of math" with a dreamy look in his eyes, describing in detail the "complexity and intertwinment" until the class begged him to stop.i'm serious. i turned around to see salukis reaction and he merely said, ''thatll provide enough blogging material for a week." haha.today my grandparents sent me a birthday package and i opened it and it had a bucket with 4 lbs of jelly bellies (yes! I LOVE jelly bellies!!), a book i wanted, a beautiful red bookmark, a purple zipup jacket and a pretty card. !!!! so much stuff! they seriously didnt have to give so much, but i loove it ALL. yay! today was orange day! i hadan orange necklaceorange nailsan orange rubber tigeran orange tigger on my watchand an orange penpenguin didnt have anything orange (!! its my fave color!!) so she stole my tiger and my necklace. great. not to mention she commandeered my necklace AND my glitterpen to be returned tomorrow. i think the pen is to provoke a comment from the guy on the bus she likes.so dont have much else to talk about... dad is at work.. saturday is HOMECOMING!!! EEEEEEK!!! IM GOING TO THE GAME AT 12:00 WITH PENGUIN AND THEN TO THE DANCE!!!! YAYAYYAYAYAYYAYAYAYYAY! i cant wait. the dance will be SO much fun. i wish more people i knew were going... oh well.LOL today was camoflage/ barbie and ken day (schoolwide thing, homecoming week, you know). so monkey and i were walking to our classes in the morning and i said "what is WITH this stuff? camo... and barbie and ken day. how those two go together, i have no idea." becca (shes cool, whiz at french) was behind us and laughed really hard at what i said. so monkey looks uninterested and said in a funny voice... "its aaaarrmmy barbie!"LOLOLOL!! it was so funny. penguin and i agree that camo is the tackiest pattern on earth. on earth. but we live in a hick town and go to a redneck school, so lots of people had it on. lots.haha stephanie was in a decked out wedding outifit with her boyfriend chip wearing a tie (chip was so humiliated.) ok, enough for today. ttfn!your faithful hairball hacker,blackcat =^-^=

hello everyone
 isnt this pic adoryyble??? :Pyay! happy un-birthday! we celebrated today b/c dads going to work tomorrow thru sunday so hell miss my real bday. anyway.
so i got:

zoo tycoon 2 (yayayayay!)

yay! wonderyful. and we had a cake :) yum.
zoo tycoon is great but huge and confusing - ill get used to it in time, im sure. you can have anymals!! including penguins and monnkeys but no black cats. huh, figures.
so today we had a history test. it was ok, sparta, athens, all that. and we have a french vocab quiz on friday and a geometry test wednesday (so happy - it could have been this friday). mr rush hemmed and hawwed about giving it wednesday but finally decided and said, ''that sound like a good idea?'' and penguin laughed when i said ''yes, in fact, thats the best idea ive ever heard in my life.'' i was funnnyyyy.

la la la la la
dum-di-dumvalerie has had a social miracle!! but that's another story.im basically posting cuz i have a feeling saluki is panting and waiting.da di damy dads going to work starting thursday and on my bday so im opening presents tomorrow. one big package, one medium, two small ones. and canada cousins and aunt and uncle sent me a great pink purse! i love.today my team won in a french game.la di damy french pen pal wrote me a letter. here it is:Hello Hannah !!My name is Tugce. penguin's new blog
well, penguin changed the url to her site for certain security reasons, and it is now www.waxontacks.blogspot.com. i have changed my link to her blog, so it works now. it is the same site, just showing the posts after she changed the url. so everything's still there.i need to figure out how to change my password. anybody know how? today was candycorn day, formed by valerie and my new day-by-day holiday thing. each day we do something to celebrate. today penguin brought candycorn, i compiled a ''candycorn anatomy'' (and, as monkey so helpfully pointed out - all he did was eat the candycorn - i mixed up the colors.) tomorrow is triangle day and ill be writing on triangle shaped notebook paper all day. isnt this fun? points to everyone who wants to participate in triangle day, 10/11/05. hope all of you has taken a look at dad's site and left a welcome comment.whoa, had absolutely no idea about nuncle ken's other blog at www.kenseatingguide.blogspot.com. anyway, go look and salivate.k all, want to see lotslots of funfun comments on this post, kk?oh, we finished LOST today. #*$*&#^$!!!!!! it didnt even tell us what was in the weird hatch-tunnel thing!! *SOB*anyhoo. comment, people. please.your faithful hairball hacker,blackcat =^-^=

announcing...
my dad's new blog!! at www.dumbbellneb27.blogspot.com. (which is funny cuz sonia just said something about it on my comments board.) yes, it took much cheng persuasion to get him to finally do it. so it's called m27 and he's on as miamirice!!! (um... long story.) his first post is short yet sardonically pessimistic. hopefully he will soon update us on the fascinating world of telescopes, messier objects (for one of which his blog is named - the dumbbell nebula, catalogued m27), flying, and raising a teenage daughter.
yes, im back in the blogger mood and now i would like to welcome my good friend saluki to my comments board, for the relatives who are scratching their heads and thinking, ''why isnt black cat telling that dog to shove off?''
so we spent the weekend at our mountain cabin and polyurathaned the floor. now we can bring up the futon, yay!!
i should post a pic to brighten the black abyss that is my template, shouldn't i? you guys are probably tired of all les chats noirs but you stick with me anyway. hey y'all
 hey y'all. i know youve all been waiting with bated breath for my next post... so here it is! my next daily mewsing. (heh heh - i like that.)
so my good friend saluki has a weblog, but the address doesnt seem to be working so ill post it later.
so... this week has been plenty busy with all sorts of test and quizzes and such. my friend fox has officially abandoned us, but thats ok. i joined french club and the week has altogether been very hectic.
my mom and i have been watching the season 1 collection of LOST - its great! its lots of fun to watch with her and hide behind a blanket while an unknown (and unrevealed, and unseen by the characters, of course) monster chases people though and unknown jungle... its crazy.
my uncle (chef burning chix) and my aunt (she has a blog at www.ninijudy.blogspot.com) are over and we got to have a look at the building they've bought for their restaraunt. it's so neat!! (um, why am i suddenly putting in apostrophies? i don't know...) its gonna be great.
my cat is laying down on the desk, saying ''look at me, not the computer! im muchmuch more beaaauuutiful!!''
i found out today that vache is the french word for cow, and penguin reminded me that 'oh la vache' is an expression used in frustration or disbelief (like oi vay) and it means literally, oh the cow. isnt that hilarious??
so aaaaanyway. penguin and i are starting a new day-by-day holiday to keep things interesting. today was alan rickman day (for those of you who dont know who that is, like i didnt before penguin exasperatedly explained to me with a look on her face like 'you heathen you' - alan rickman is snape in the harry potter movies.) and monday is candy corn day. i patiently explained to her that my mountain cabin that were going to this weekend doesnt exactly give me anything to celebrate with regarding candycorn with the touch of a button. she happily told me that i could draw them (of course, why didnt i think of that.), so i shall spend my weekend trying (and probably failing - its amazing how hard it is to keep a simple thing like a piece of candy corn from looking like an orange triangle) to draw candy corn.
saluki eagerly asked if he could also participate in candy corn day. i said sure but what hes gonna do.... i have no clue.
we also decided that holidays are decided spontaneously according to our moods - that is, the day before so we have time to prepare. hey penguin, maybe it should be a rule to bring something related each day, whether its a drawing or an object or a quote or pic or whatever. that would be fun, huh?
so chef and ninijudy and my parents and i went to a tavern sort of place to scout out the competition, but it was just ok. and the barbecue gave everyone stomachaches.
we watched the anime movie appleseed. pix up top. so the animationg was pretty good, although slightly stiff (hey, its anime, what more can i ask without it being anything else?) and the plot was alright. i love the main character, doonan, and also the prime minister lady's guard who doesnt have much of a part but is still very cool looking. she doesnt have a pic, just doonan up top and her robot boyfriend (yeah, yeah, i know.)ok. so thats enough for today!!your faithful (but not of late) hairball hacker,blackcat =^-*=
